I am man. Hear me roar. I would love to hear you roar, but it is currently being drowned by your creaking joints. Yes, that is the slightly audible noise you hear everytime you walk. Why are you creaking like an old oak cabinet? You do not mobilize your body every day. We are getting older. As we age we must change. So must our training emphasis. All those pr’s, and “no pain no gain” training days will cash the check you wrote. You do not have a choice. There is something we can do. We can mitigate joint pain and injuries by adopting a daily mobility routine for men. I would like to emphasize “For Men”. We are not the supple leopards that our lady counterparts are. We are muscle bound warriors whose purpose is to serve and protect our family. TO achieve this, one must be strong yet agile. A daily mobility routine specifically for men, can create this strong, agile warrior. All you have to do is DO!

Every workout has consequences. Yes, your muscles breakdown and rebuild. Great! What about the links that hold it all together? I am referring to our tendons and ligaments within our joints. They take a beating during every run, every lift, and every day. Spending as little as 5 minutes a day mobilizing your joints can improve your overall fitness. Mobility restores length to the muscles which removes stress on the ligaments of the joints. My favorite part of mobility is the mental release it provides daily. We can all feel the aches and pains building up over 24 hrs. Taking a few minutes to attend your discomfort, calms your nervous system, and releases endorphins. Literally creating a feel good sensation. This feel good sensation will resonate throughout your body as stress is relieved physiologically and psychologically. Imagine spending a few minutes a day to guarantee 24 hrs of a great day. Adopting a mobility routine for men is crucial for physical longevity and mental longevity. Don’t just mobilize your body, do it for your brain as well!

Alright. Minds out of the gutter. I am talking about joint lube here. Specifically synovial fluid. Just as grease keeps your door from squeaking, synovial fluid prevents your joints from creaking. Daily mobility exercises specifically for men, can increase the flow of fluid within the joint. Better flow equates to efficient delivery of nutrients. This in turn helps prevent inflammation, a major player in joint pain. There is a sayin, “Motion is lotion.” Mobilize your joints. Lube your joints. Restore your joints. All for the sake of longevity. If you don’t, you might just end up leading a life of discomfort. The choice is your.

In conclusion, men don’t really have a choice when it comes to mobility. Our elevated testosterone levels and high capacity for muscle gain, requires us to mobilize daily.
