True strength of men. 3 tips to help you become a powerful man.
Nov 11, 2025
Some men think the strength of who we are is in our physique. Some men believe strength is their words. Let me tell you these men are wrong. The strength of a TRUE man exists in his will power. This is a force that cannot be ignored. Every man has it. Most men ignore it. Pride tells them their huge bank account is why they are a man. Yet, their family does not know them. Pride tells them the world must bend to them. Yet, they are unwilling to bend to life. True men know pride will bring you low. The one thing to bring men back to the top is Will Power. Are you man enough to exercise your will in these 3 areas?
3 areas every man needs to exercise his Will Power to be strong.
- Will to Learn
- Will to grow
- Will to commune
- Will to Learn.
A brain that does not receive knowledge regularly is like a garden with no water. It will dry up, and produce nothing. Many men get lost in life as they forget to water the garden. Work events. Life Events. They take time away from men. Alcohol, drugs, women. Name it, and it is an outlet for many men. The men who lead us are the ones consuming knowledge daily. These men fuel their fire with information to be a new man. Hopefully, a better man. I myself am guilty. More than once in my life, I have succumbed to the affliction of pride. It has brought me low. I have let it take many wonderful things out of my life. Fortunately, I am a voracious consumer of knowledge. When my pride strikes me to the floor, it is a book that will open my eyes. It is a simple phrase, or sentence which will show me how to defeat my own pride. When was the last time you opened a book? High school? College? Grow up. You are a man. Water your garden of knowledge. Otherwise, your fire will die.
- Will to grow
Acquisition of knowledge without application is a waste of time. Most men just piss on the garden and call it watered. No attention to the quality or the source. A true man will learn and apply. Once he is done. He will repeat the process. Once he is done. He will repeat the process again. Repetition of will. Repetition of application of knowledge is the only way to grow as a man. I am guilty of this. I mentioned I am a voracious consumer of knowledge. Too much knowledge without application, is overwatering the garden. In reality, this is me buying my wife's love with gifts. More and more water until the garden is drowned and the relationship is empty. The will to grow means the will to repeat a simple process again and again until growth happens. For some, this is a change of attitude. Others, maybe a change in career, hobbies, or bad habits. In what areas of your life do you need to grow? What knowledge do you possess but do not apply?
- Will to commune
The lone wolf. The lion without a pride. Do we as men really believe these exist? The lone wolf can succumb to his singularity. One wrong step. A single second of attention lapse can put a man down. No one will be there to help. I was training for a competition. Alone. The last day of my training, my back gave out on a run. 200 yds from my destination, and I could not stand up. Sitting on the side of the road. I had no one to call. The lone wolf was down. Weak. Vulnerable. With no help in sight. Men are communal creatures. We thrive when we work together. We grow and learn from the mistakes of the pack just as we grow and learn from the mistakes of our own life. The will to commune provides a man a place to test his will against worthy opponents. I call them friends. Do you have friends? Do you commune with them regularly? Perhaps now is the time to step into a pack. Let them test you. They will accept you simply because you fought your greatest opponent. Yourself. The outcome is irrelevant. Your pack will pick you up. Bind your wounds, and show you the love of a pack.
3 areas every man needs to exercise his Will Power to be strong.
- Will to Learn
- Will to grow
- Will to commune
We moved last year. Less than a mile from my home was a sign with the phrase, “A man’s pride will bring him low.” I scoffed. I howled. I barked at the foolishness. 1 year later. What a fool I was. The quote rings in my ears daily as I struggle to launch a new product. My will to learn. My will to grow. My will to commune. Each of these powers of will has exposed my pride. The ugly, bare, nakedness of it. The uselessness of it. I am thankful to have will power. Where in your life is pride rearing its ugly head? It doesn’t matter. Learn. Grow. Commune. Exercise your will power. Be the man you are meant to be.
